1904 : In Geneva, Edmond Zuccolo worked as a bespoke craftsman for a workshop manufacturing chains, Joseph Rochet became the foreman of this workshop.
1909 : The two men form a partnership to make chains for pocket watches.
1914 : A trade register is opened in Geneva, the company is registered under number 879.
1916 : The first workshop is opened in Haute-Savoie.
1917 : ZRC. ZUCCOLO ROCHET & Cie® is one of the pioneers of the rising watch bracelet industry. The innovative technology of its expanding metal bands is rewarded by obtaining the 1st prize in the “Competition for New Industries” in Geneva.
1919 : All activities are concentrated in Annecy.
1925 : A factory is built in Annecy.
1945 : ZRC continues to grow under the leadership of Louis Brunet, the son-in-law of Joseph Rochet. He creates and develops a sales network dedicated to French retail Jewelers.
1950 : A showroom is opened in Paris.
1960 : Thanks to the tireless energy of Georgette Rochet, Joseph Rochet's widow, the company became a public limited company with 100% or corporate capital held by the Rochet-Brunet family. She was assisted by her daughter Andrée Rochet-Brunet, and Louis Brunet the General Manager. Two subsidiaries are opened in Europe: Barcelona in association with Manuel Viñas and Daniel Bastida ; Brussels with Pierre Tigranoff who joined the group in 1976.
1970 : Joseph Brunet's grandson, Patrick Brunet, takes over the management of the company.
1975 : In order to gain shares of the leather bracelet market, a production subsidiary is opened in Besançon. In the next 25 years the shares of leather strap grows from 9% to 80% of the total company sales.
1981 : ZRC leaves the Annecy center and moves in a more functional factory in the industrial zone of Seynod.
1985 : Patrick Brunet's wife, Catherine Brunet becomes the Sales Manager and, later on became General Manager.
1992 : Start of another manufacturing outlet in association with Gérard Simon, named SIBRA, in Besançon.
1994 : A new factory is built in Besançon to manufacture:
- ZRC and Jean Rochet Paris® replacement bracelets.
- OEM bracelets.
1995 : A new production subsidiary is created with Indian partners O.P. Marwah and Rajiv Marwah named SIBRAMA in New Dehli. A distribution subsidiary is opened in New York.
1997 : Georges Brunet, the son of Patrick and Catherine Brunet, joins the company to take charge of product management.
2000 : Charles Brunet, the second son of Patrick and Catherine Brunet, joins the company to take charge of France Sales.
2001 : To combine its activities in China, an Asian subsidiary is opened in association with Fujio Hirata : ZRC Hong-Kong.
2002 : A new Indian factory is built in Noïda (UP) to triple ZRC's production capacity.
2003 : Extension of the SIBRA plant in Besançon. The Group is planning to include a test lab, a fast prototyping department and a CAD unit.
2004 : Reinforcement of the Research & Development service in Annecy with the arrival of a new designer product manager. ZRC. ZUCCOLO ROCHET & Cie® celebrates its 100 years.
